E-Learning can cover a spectrum of activities from supporting learning to blended learning (the combination of traditional and e-learning practices), to learning that is delivered entirely online.

OFFICE 365
Hawera High School students can access Microsoft Office Products at home and school through an Microsoft 365 account which contains the full suite of Microsoft productivity tools. Students also have access to 1 Terabyte of online storage for all their work and files.

Hawera High School makes use of the Governments ultra-fast broadband initiative. Students are encouraged to bring their own device which will be allowed to access our school network. Student phones are not considered to be an acceptable device for school work and are therefore unable to access the network. The school BYOD policy is attached.
