SCHOOL DAY STRUCTURE
Following a review of the timetable in 2019, in order to better fit the needs of our students, the school day structure and timetable will be significantly different to what parents/caregivers and students have been use to.
FIVE DAY TIMETABLE
The school day structure is based on a five day timetable, with four periods each day. Periods will be either 90 minutes or 60 minutes in duration.
Senior subjects will have a combined total of four hours of lessons each week.
Year 9 students study English, Maths and Science for 4 hours per week, Social Studies, Hauroa and Te Reo for 3 hours per week, and a further 4 hours of option rotations.
The Year 10 programme sees 4 hours of English, Maths Science and Social Studies, 3 hours of Hauora, and 6 hours of option rotations per week.
