Hawera High School Resource Centre supports the development of confident, connected and involved lifelong learners through its services and collections. We give each and every student the opportunity to learn, to enjoy reading and to discover new ways of gaining knowledge and understanding in the Library/Resource Centre.
The Resource Centre is open from 8.45am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Resource Centre services are also available at lunchtime, and students are welcome to come in and read, play board games, research or complete homework. Resource Centre staff and the daily Teacher on Duty are available for help if required.
Students can access their library account from any computer in the school through the HHS Library Oliver Database resource link.
To log in, students simply use their firstnamelastname (all one word, lower case), and their student ID No (this can be found on their ID Card) as the password. Once logged in, a list of items that have been issued can be viewed, the catalogue searched and items can be renewed or reserved.
